SPRING/SUMMER 2001 CANADIAN DESIGNER COLLECTIONS

KHURANA
: Spring/Summer 2001

Night At The Playboy Mansion
The enthusiastic brother-sister team for Khurana were delighted to participate in their first spring/summer presentations and they certainly fit right in.
The Windsor Arms Hotel was the ideal setting for sexy lingerie and loungewear as their models mingled in keyhole neckline sequin laced slips and reversible pink-plum kimono coats to a lazy jazz and faint second hand conversations. If everything goes to plan, this collection will move you from the "dancefloor or entertaining at home right to the bedroom," even though some of these pieces (french seamed tap shorts) are typically reserved for behind closed doors. All pieces are 100% silk or cotton and highlights included their best seller, a black organza ribbon dress, and floral strapless dress with a center tie. The two young designers stated "to see our clothes thirty years from now in a vintage shop would be the ultimate compliment."
