Robin
Barker, renowned Toronto hairstylist, recently celebrated his 40th anniversary
with style and a splashy runway production outside his Yorkville spa.
Featuring 40 models with hair that covered all the trends, colours,
cuts, and included elaborate creations that took several days of preparation
from a dedicated staff and perseverance from the models. The show began
with a performance inspired by the year of the golden dragon followed
by a video retrospection of Robin's looks from the 1960's to 2000 and
a runway show with the help of Canadian designers such as Marilyn Brooks,
Hoax Couture, Pat McDonagh, Annie Thompson, and Ula Zukowska. Cheers
