Bodybag by Jude - fall/winter 2002

Judith Desjardins is running brisk business in Quebec. Back on the runway this season with a more defined image, Bodybag is carving out a niche market that the techno-oriented line is growing into. Walking the fashion-apparel line with her faux-denim and terrycloth is allowing Desjardins to elaborate on a sub-genre level. A periwinkle terrycloth cropped top with precise yellow stitching is representative of a collection of exteriorized construction. While the faux-denim dresses are ambiguous, elliptical lines, zippers as directional signs and raw seams are right on target, giving warm clothes an icy look.
