Rosa Costanzo - spring/summer 2004

The ivory stretch linen boot cut pants are fantastic, just as long as you’re not hiding a great pair of shoes…Ribbons run amok over a cream silk skirt, even as they demarcate the silhouette with an abstract sensibility.
Teal accents abound in the collection, helping to offset the black and white in a subtle way. An ivory kimono style dress with ruching leans in an elegant direction. The peek-a-boo jersey top in red and white stripes comes with a variation of itself, a strap modification for the more stylistically adventurous.
Black mesh returns a few times in the collection, on an embroidered and top with cross ribbing, as well as on an off-the shoulder number worn over a black skirt with teal accents.
The intersecting lines work well as a collection motif that keeps the collection well within trend contention. Costanzo never lets us forget, though, about the label’s wonderful originality.
