Rudsak - spring/summer 2010

Rudsak seduces with simple classics and a touch of glamour in a soft neutral palette and bright accents.
The Montreal label, best known for its treated leather, showed off a muted collection of subtle glamour in leather and satin, coated cotton and suede. Endless combinations of vanilla, champagne, grey and black were kept bold with burnt orange, cobalt and purple. Sleek and functional safari jackets, car coats, and bags materialized in techno fabrics, supporting the cast of leather and suede in this season’s offerings. In this collection clearly inspired by ‘60s traveler chic, the leather pintuck dresses and shorts say ‘effortless luxe’, and are making me reconsider the seasonal length for leather.
While the collection is a tad repetitive, it is a pleasure to witness equally strong menswear and womenswear collections working seamlessly together.
